Plan your day with a pen

With your head cleared and with you ready to take on the day, here’s what you should do next.

Plan your day. Because if you don’t write it down, it’s never going to get done. Now, it’s easy for us to note it down on an app but there is something that adds more value when you use a pen and a paper. So, sit down, pull out your book and your best pen.

Start with the beginning of the day. You can be meticulous about it and plan with a time frame or you could note it down based on the priority of the task.

With your mind decluttered and your body revived you are ready to take on the day.

Why plan?

Give it a shot and you will know exactly what we’re talking about. But, to allure you to plan out your day, here’s an explanation. It’s quite simple. When you make a note of something, you will be taking time out of your day to grab a book and a pen, sit down and pen down the letters. If you are going to take more than a minute to complete a task, then it must be important. So, your head goes -hey! This must be important. We must get it done. And just like that, you will be checking off each box one by one as you get the task done. It will not leave your head until the task is complete.

Well, that’s half the problem solved – remembering to do it. And then there’s the other half, actually getting the job done. Now, that’s left up to you and a topic of discussion for another day.

We are going to dive a little deeper into the concept of planning.

Getting the daily tasks done is a fine start, note it down, strike it off and task completed. You’ve already begun organizing your day, in turn, your life but why stop there. You can get more done now with your head, heart and soul in the right place.

Ever heard of a 10-year plan and a 5-year plan? Is that a thing? Of course! If you are still walking around aimlessly, taking one day at a time then you are in trouble. You will be steered along the way by everybody else but yourself. We’re sure that’s not what you want. But if you don’t act now, you will be moved along life with the direction of the wind with nothing to fight for and no resistance. Or you could take one day at a time, it is entirely up to you.

Now, why a 10-year plan? We can hear you say that you’re clueless about tomorrow, why talk about the next 10 years. Now, when you make a plan, we don’t mean you have to stick to it with military precision. Along the way, you will need to accept change with course time and again. You will be progressing into a completely different human and you will reach a point where will no longer recognize the person you once were.

Divide your goals into different phases and plan

We start with the immediate two

Self-development

Decide who you want to be and visualize what you want to look like in the next 10 years. Mentally fit, in tune with your senses, physically fit, well-groomed, well-mannered and so much more. You don’t want to be sloppy-looking and messy. And, beauty lies in all this, the manner in which your conduct yourself, your values and it is never your face. A well-groomed person with an awesome personality equates to beauty.

Career growth

We are here to get you to ask yourselves the big questions. It will rattle your life a bit but with your head in the right place, you can manage it well. Are you sitting at a desk somewhere in the world wishing you didn’t have to do this? Loving what you do is so important. If you don’t do it, the least that you can do is show up. Find a balance between passion and income. When these two concepts share a common ground then, there is scope for you to wake up every morning jumping out of bed. Why? Because you now love what you do. Plan ahead, seek the big questions. Find your direction and purpose.
